About Us
Background
Established in 1926, Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children is one of the largest charitable organizations which focus on the care and welfare of children. All these years, we offer professional Child-Centered care and education to young children. 5 day crèches under HKSPC are all subsidized by government, aiming to provide comprehensive day service to working parents or families in need.
Service Rationale
According to many studies made by psychologists and brain specialists, babies have profound learning ability. Proper nurture and timely stimulation contribute far reaching impact on their growth and development in the first few years of age. We do share same belief that we emphasize on “care and education” in early development of the babies.
Service Objectives
- Building solid foundation for future development:
Grabbing babies’ critical moment of intellectual development, provide a safe, stimulating and learning environment to develop their potentials.
- Whole-person development:
Providing balanced and multi-purpose activities for babies, to foster their development in various aspects, including physical, intellectual, language, cognitive and social skills, self-care ability & good living habits, etc.
Target
Babies from birth to 2 years old.
Service Hours
Mon – Fri : 8:00a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sat : 8:00a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
Teachers
Services are provided by child care staff who have professional and qualified child care training and are registered at Social Welfare Department and Education Bureau.
