First Parent-Teacher Conference

Event Objectives:
The conference allows teachers and parent to communicate about children’s developments.
Event Details:
Teachers assess children’s development regularly. On the day of conference, parents and teachers discuss the developmental assessment summary and observation record. Teachers contacted parents who could not attend the conference via phone to have brief conversations about children’s developments.
Joint-Creche parents educational Webinar (via Zoom Video Webinar)

Event Objectives:
The webinar introduced reading behaviors of infants and toddlers. With the knowledge, parents can build up children’s reading habits, and enhance their language development.

Christmas and Birthday Party

Event Objectives:
The Christmas party allows children to enjoy the festive atmosphere with the teachers.

There were different activities, for example, meeting the Santa Claus, sensory activities etc
Parents Sign Language Workshop
Event Date:

Event Objectives:
Parents can learn about the story learned according to the babies’ age group in verbal and sign language, and also the sign language commonly used in creche.
Event Details:
The sign language teachers of the Chinese University of Hong Kong come to the creche to work with teachers every Tuesday and Wednesday. Basic sign language will be taught through story-telling. In order to give parents a better understanding in sign language learning, the creche organized “Parents Sign Language Workshop” twice a month to show parents how it is taught.
ACC 70th Anniversary and The Opening of The Sensory Exploration Park

Event Objectives:
This event aims to let the public promoting the services of our creche. Also, current parents and parents who are waiting for the service can have better understanding of the creche, and enhance home-creche cooperation.
Event Details:
The theme of the Open day was “Exploring the Ocean World with senses”. There were different sensory activities in classrooms, historical photos of the creche at the hallway, and information of the creche and the program “SHARE” were displayed near the main entrance.
